1. General Terms

By using Vermarka, you agree to these Terms of Service. We operate a zero-fee marketplace where buyers and sellers can transact directly. Our revenue comes from optional services like buyer protection and listing promotions.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Vermarka
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate information when creating listings
  • All transactions are between buyers and sellers - Vermarka facilitates but doesn't guarantee

2. Buyer Protection

Buyer protection is an optional service that provides coverage for eligible transactions. When you subscribe to buyer protection:

  • You're covered for items not received (with tracking proof)
  • You're covered for items significantly not as described
  • Claims must be filed within 30 days (60 days for Premium plans)
  • All claims are reviewed by our human support team
  • Coverage limits apply based on your plan
  • Normal wear and tear or buyer's remorse are not covered

3. Seller Responsibilities

As a seller on Vemarka, you agree to:

  • Accurately describe all items you list
  • Ship items within the stated handling time
  • Provide tracking information for shipped items
  • Honor your return policy as stated in your listing
  • Respond to buyer messages within 48 hours
  • Not engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Not list prohibited items (see Prohibited Items section)

4. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited on Vermarka:

  • Illegal items or items that violate local laws
  • Counterfeit or replica items
  • Stolen goods
  • Weapons, firearms, or ammunition
  • Drugs, alcohol, or tobacco products
  • Hazardous materials
  • Items that infringe on intellectual property
  • Live animals (except as permitted by law)

5. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between buyer and seller:

  • Both parties should attempt to resolve directly first
  • If unresolved, either party can file a dispute
  • Our human support team reviews all disputes fairly
  • We consider evidence from both parties
  • Decisions are typically made within 48 hours
  • Both parties can appeal decisions
  • Buyer protection subscribers get priority review

6. Scam Prevention

We take scams seriously. If you encounter suspicious activity:

  • Report it immediately through our scam reporting system
  • Provide evidence (screenshots, messages, etc.)
  • Our moderation team investigates all reports
  • Verified scammers are banned from the platform
  • We work with law enforcement when necessary

7. Promoted Listings

Sellers can promote their listings for increased visibility:

  • Promotion is optional and paid
  • Promoted listings appear higher in search results
  • Different promotion tiers offer different benefits
  • Promotion fees are non-refundable
  • Promoted listings must still comply with all policies

8. Account Suspension

We may suspend or ban accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Receive multiple valid scam reports
  • List prohibited items
  • Harass or abuse other users
  • Attempt to circumvent platform rules

9. Limitation of Liability

Vermarka is a marketplace platform. We facilitate transactions but are not a party to them. We are not responsible for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of items listed
  • The accuracy of listing descriptions
  • Delivery of items (that's between buyer and seller)
  • Disputes between buyers and sellers (though we help resolve them)

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be notified via email. Continued use of Vermarka after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
